Handcrafted pieces reward a little care. Start with the material and size information on your product page; contact us if you need advice about a particular piece.

Hat sizing

Measure around your head where the hat will sit, keeping the tape level and comfortably snug. Compare the measurement in centimetres with the sizes offered on the individual product page.

  • S: 55 cm.
  • M: 56 cm.
  • L: 57 cm.
  • XL: 58 cm.

These sizes apply to our Extra-Fine Panama hats. Other styles may have different sizes. Where specified, an adjustable inner band helps personalise the fit. If you are between sizes, ask us before ordering.

Bags and clothing

Bag dimensions are listed on each product page and may vary slightly with handcrafting. For clothing, “one size” describes the sizing offered; it does not guarantee every fit. Please contact us for garment measurements before ordering if you are unsure.

Woven hats, bags and clutches

  • Keep natural woven fibres dry and away from prolonged direct sunlight and heat when storing.
  • Remove loose surface dust gently with a soft, dry brush or cloth. Avoid soaking, machine washing and household cleaning chemicals.
  • Store bags without heavy pressure on the weave. Support your hat’s shape and avoid folding or crushing it unless the product specifically says it is foldable.
  • If a piece becomes wet or stained, contact us for advice before attempting further cleaning.

Jewellery

  • Keep jewellery away from water, perfume, lotions and household chemicals. Apply cosmetics before putting it on.
  • Remove jewellery before swimming, showering, exercise and sleep.
  • After wear, wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth and store pieces separately to protect delicate filigree, beads and finishes.
  • Avoid abrasive polishing products on gold-plated pieces. Ask us for advice on tarnish or repairs.

Kimonos and textiles

Follow the care label supplied with your garment. If the composition or care instructions are unclear, contact us before washing, ironing or dry cleaning. Do not assume that every artisan textile needs the same treatment.
